Central District - ICD-10-CM Updates for 2027

Stay current with the latest changes to ICD-10-CM for Fiscal Year 2027. This educational session will provide an overview of new, revised, and deleted ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes, along with important changes to coding guidelines and conventions. Participants will explore how the FY 2027 updates affect code selection and learn how new codes should be appropriately applied when coding patient records. The session will also address documentation requirements necessary to support newly created diagnosis codes, helping HIM and coding professionals prepare for accurate and compliant coding in the new fiscal year.
